Author David Brooks to discuss human connection in Dallas appearances

The New York Times columnist’s latest bestseller is ‘How To Know a Person.’

Bestselling author and columnist David Brooks will talk about forging deeper connections with people in a pair of Dallas appearances.

The New York Times columnist and cultural commentator will appear at Temple Emanu-El on May 2 at 7 p.m. to discuss his latest bestseller, How To Know a Person: The Art of Seeing Others Deeply and Being Deeply Seen. The book draws from psychology, neuroscience, history and culture to offer an integrated approach to fostering human connection.

Brooks’ appearance is sponsored by the Thanks-Giving Foundation. Earlier that day, the author will take part in the 43rd National Day of Prayer Luncheon hosted by the foundation at the Meyerson Symphony Center, 2301 Flora St., Dallas.
